It has been quiet for a while with regard to developments on the site. There was not much reason for modification or extension, although a number of requests and demands have been received. The registration process is slightly modified. If it fails , you do not fill out the whole form agian. If you are already a member, nothing has changed.
Mytracks.me is a hobby project, however there are costs. By clicking every now and then click on an advertisement, you generate income for Mytracks.me. Do that, or keep doing that. Of course it is possible to make a donation (see button 'Donate' below left).
I wish all users of the Mytracks.me the best for 2012.

This site is kept alive with love. However, there are some costs that I am trying to recover with ads posted by Google.Google counts the number of clicks on the ads. Perhaps you
as members and visitors to the site are willing to click every now and again on ads ?

On Monday, August 29, 2011 from 22:00 till 01.00 (timezone Amsterdam) the server mytracks.me will be down due to maintenance. This means that the Web site is not or only partially accessible. It is very uncomfortable because Monday is always a busy day on the site. Sorry for the inconvenience.

A member from Taiwan asked for an posibility to select a timezone for each track.
The timezone can be selected now for each track. When
uploading or changing the track data an extra field is added. Select
the apropriate time zone. There are two or three selected options: the default for
that user, the time zone associated with the starting point of the ride, and the
value for this trip has already been selected. If a certain value is
not available, then that option is not shown. I think it's pretty
clear, but questions are welcome.
